Makeshift tents and forts often function as artificial private spaces in which children erect their own worlds, defined by their own rules and often filled with objects of desire. Modeled after these structures, this sculpture explores sexual awakening by concentrating its focus on the porous boundary between fantasy and reality that typically defines childhood.
